Apapa Amusement Park
It was a piece of good news when the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism Arts and Culture, Folorunsho Folarin-Coker announced the opening of the redeveloped Apapa Amusement Park on Saturday January 30, 2016.
This move restated the Lagos State Government’s commitment to grow the Lagos economy through the promotion of tourism, arts and culture. Folorunso Folarin-Coker called on Lagosians to visit the park, saying it will help in conserving foreign exchange that would have been spent visiting such facilities elsewhere in the world as well as create jobs for people in the area.
The park includes amusement facilities for children, teenagers and adults. The facilities at the park today include rides, adult games, junior games, children games, kart racing, gardens, restaurant & coffee shop, snack bars, passages, fountain & seating area, first aid, parking area & conveniences. There is also a mini-football field for visitors.
With the reopening of the Apapa Amusement Park, families can relive memories of Lagos as a fun filled city .
